Hanalei is a current full-time sous chef in the USA. She has worked in high-volume restaurants since 2018. On the side, she runs the social media persona ladylinecook. Started in 2020 fresh out of a job, she was bored and also frustrated with the lack of quality kitchen humor and memes online. The goal was always to make people laugh. Now with close to 100,000 followers across the board, ladylinecook has turned into not only a personal brand but a face for those who prepare your food every day.
